Role: Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Near Birmingham

Duration: 3 months

Rate: £40-45 per hour

I have an exciting contract role for a leading Electronics company who are about to start a project for a well known automotive client.

You will be based on site in their office near Birmingham however there is a chance you may be able to do some of the work remotely!

You will be responsible for developing automotive middleware applications in C which run on VXworks.

For this role it is essential you have recent VXworks experience (ideally VXworks version 7)

It will be a big advantage if you have worked within the automotive industry (or any other safety critical projects) however this is not essential!

Skills;

* VXworks

* Embedded C

* ARM

* TCP/IP

* Autosar (highly desirable)
