Functional and Information Data Architect x 2 - Data Modelling - Investment Bank

Functional and Information Data Architects x 2 with the following:-

                               Significant experience of Functional and Application Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Architecture rules and principles

                               Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models

                               Design-thinking skills

                               Knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Equities and/or Commodities products

                               Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies

                               Familiarity with MDM, BI, and data warehouse concepts and models

                               Knowledge of Data-modelling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level

                               Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design

                               Ability to analyse project, program and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers

                               Presentation and facilitation skills

                               Strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create marketing and messaging materials that meet stakeholder preferences

                               Distinct customer focus and quality mind-set

                               Ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus

The Functional and Application Architect participates in the coherence and durability of the entire Information System, in compliance with the Group’s business objectives and strategy, taking into account external and internal constraints (risks, costs, deadlines, etc.) S/he assists with the preparation/development and implementation of studies, projects and portfolios throughout the life cycle of projects, and monitors their implementation..

The Data and Information Architect has responsibility for structuring the information in the Information System, i.e. the way information is grouped, as well as the navigation methods and the terminology used within the Information Systems of the entity; creating and managing data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models and others. These are just some of the responsibilities of the roles.
