oPrior experience working in a public sector environment - ideally local government or health authority

o10 years relevant experience working in an Architecture / Design post with certifications relevant to the role advertised (e.g. CCNP, CCIE, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure etc.)

oDetailed technical understanding of Microsoft Azure - including understanding of Azure network structures, Expressroute, integration with on prem etc.

oDetailed technical understanding of Microsoft O365 - including an in depth understanding of the usage and implementation of the various security features available

oUnderstanding of Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, Bluecoat Proxy SG appliances, F5 BigIP appliances

oPrior experience of both cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrade / replacement projects

oGood documentation skills - evidence of this will be sought

oGood presentation skills - including ability to tune a presentation to the particular audience

oAble to work independently
