Front End Developer - Javascript - Reactjs

£40,000-£45,000 + Flexible working + Potential of 1 days home working per week

Manchester City Centre

Are you a JavaScript developer who is either proficient with React.js or proficient with JavaScript in general and looking to learn React.js?

Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components, with a goal to improving the general code quality and architecture of frontend applications within the business.

You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure; you may be required to pitch in with some of the backend which is written in PHP.

Responsibilities for Front End Developer:

*Developing new user-facing features using React.js

*Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

*Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

*Optimizing components for maximum performance in modern browsers

*Maintaining and improving our frontend tooling & build process

*Opportunity to shape the direction of the frontend technology and processes

Required skills for Front End Developer:

*Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS and with AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS or EmberJS

*Time served as a Front End Developer

*Some PHP knowledge
