£35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Progression + Training + Pension + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical design engineer who is looking to work for an expanding organisation, where you will have the chance to progress.

Do you have Mechanical Design experience and want to progress into your first senior role? Do you have the skills to lead a busy team?

Established in the 1970's this expanding company specialise in equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries. Having firmly established themselves, they are now looking for a Mechanical design engineer to come on board to help with their expanding order books.

In this role you will be responsible for the design, development and management of the production process to ensure you maximise profit and deliver a product at a reduced price which is more efficient. You will help to lead the design team by scheduling work and resource, whilst designing, reconfiguring, drawing and developing specialist moving systems.

This role will therefore suit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to progress their career in a growing company, while continuing to use their technical and problem solving skills.

The Role:

* Meeting clients to design new systems and develop existing products

* Review and alter designs to meet customer needs

* Create 2D and 3D drawings on AutoCAD / Auto Desk Inventor

* Ensure customer specifications and deadlines are delivered at all times

* £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Progression + Training + Pension + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

* Mechanical Design engineer

* Experience designing in 3D

* Ideally will have experience with Autodesk Inventor

* Small component design experience desirable
