Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (Java 8 RESTful AWS MongoDB Microservices Docker Vert.x). Passionate Java Developer sought by disruptive technology start-up software house that is pushing the boundaries of technical innovation.

This Java Developer role presents an excellent opportunity to work on Greenfield software projects that will make a real difference to ordinary people's lives. Their core product is a digital ID recognition system that utilises Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques; you'll be working on Greenfield projects including Image Processing (Computer Vision) and Biometrics products such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

As a Java Developer you will have the opportunity to shape the architecture and be influential in best practise, utilising the latest technologies such as Java 8, Vert.x promoting Continuous Delivery, microservices, Docker, RESTful web services, cloud / AWS and NoSQL databases.

The company has experienced rapid growth over the past year due its phenomenal success. This role presents an excellent opportunity be part of a dynamic and technology driven start-up whilst working on a variety of interesting and intellectually challenging projects. Modern, bright, spacious offices based in Central London with ping pong tables, a library and other onsite facilities.

Requirements:

*Passion for technology and engineering world class solutions

*Extensive server-side Java 7 experience, ideally Java 8

*Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals and object orientated programming

*Advocate of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery methods

*Familiar with microservices, Docker, REST, cloud / AWS and NoSQL databases

*Desire to work for an early stage start-up software house and be influential in the company's success

*Excellent communicator

*Likely to be degree educated (Computer Science) although this is not essential

As a Java Developer / Java Software Engineer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (to £60k) plus shares.
