WebMethods Developer

Location - Bracknell

Duration - 3-6 Months

Brief description/introduction:

Client IT is looking for an experienced webMethods developer to assist with a peak in project work on a new Transport Management system

Principal duties and responsibilities:

Principal duties include:

- webMethods development

- Review SOA design output

- Review webMethods code against agreed standards

- Actively participate in regular developer review meetings to share development experiences

Essential experience and technical/business skills:

- 3+ years Software AG webMethods Integration Server development experience within an ESB environment

- Experience developing using SoftwareAG Designer

- Experience with webMethods MQ Adapter, , webMethods JDBC Adapter

- Good knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, Canonical models, WS-* concepts, SOA concepts

- Ability to quickly adapt to the Waitrose development framework and standards

- Strong Java development skills

- Experience of working in an Integration environment and working collaboratively with other teams

- Experience of working in a governed SOA environment

- Good verbal and written communication skills

Desirable experience and technical/business skills:

- webMethods version 9.9 experience

- CATE Unit testing framework

- XMLSpy

- Familiarity with transports such as HTTP(S) and JMS

- Experience of working within a CI environment

- Mainframe/DB2
