Business Intelligence Developer

A global information company is currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer to join their Finance and Risk department. This is a key role for anyone with a strong BI background as you will be working for one of the market leaders when it comes to intelligent information and analytics.

Information about the role

This role will see you building business intelligence and reports to do with trading within FX. You will produce value added visualizations of the data, to glean information and insights from the data not just report on it, drawing conclusions that are not too obvious. You'll be using data to create reports and visualisations using Tableau in line with internal and external client requirements.

Information about the candidate

Essential skills-

* Knowledge of trading workflows and FX transactions either commercially or personal interest

* Communication and presentation skills.

* Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design

* Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence tool.

Desirable skills-

* Understanding of digital currencies such as Bitcoin

* Knowledge of Big Data/ Hadoop

* Unix
