Are you a Firmware Engineer looking for a challenge? This could be the role for you!

Due to the rapid growth of the Company, a Firmware Engineer is needed to join a fast paced, dynamic team based near to Sunderland. Reporting to the Principle Embedded Engineer, you will be expected to come on board and hit the ground running working under pressure in this busy environment. For this role you must have experience in Embedded C and Firmware and you must have excellent communication skills as facing customers is a part of this role.

With very successful projects recently completed and new ones signed up - now is definitely the time to join!

Experience in the following areas is required:

*Design and develop code working to the company's standards

*Maintain and expand a suite of C firmware for ARM (Keil uVision) and Microchip (XC8) for legacy firmware.

*C# and Labview for PC test applications

*Write new firmware using formal methods and adhering to the companies new coding standards.

*Review the approach of software test to release and identify and implement recommendations, create firmware test plans as well as developing firmware.

*Participate in formal and informal peer reviews at different stages of development.

*Work closely with our customers to capture and implement their requirements using user stories

*Contribute to multi-disciplined teams on a number of projects
