Role: Senior Firmware Development Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + benefits

As a senior Firmware engineer you will work in a small team and be responsible for coordinating the development and qualification of hardware/firmware in the electronics and software areas.

Key Skills required:

*Firmware Embedded C experience

*Development of Microprocessor firmware/software

*Development of test software scripts /apps and test procedures for tools and equipment.

*Consolidation of internal test data and reporting thereof to clients and development team.

*Build and design systems using LabVIEW and C#

*A basic electrical circuit design knowledge is required as you will be problem solving PCB issues

Desired Skills:

*Programming skills in C and LabVIEW.

*Experience in the design and component selection of mechanical, electronic or electro- hydraulic systems.

*Experience of completions, logging, MWD or monitoring.

*Experience with design of micro controller based systems.

*Experience in testing prototype tools.

*Experience with the testing of downhole and hydraulic systems.
