Acoustics Engineer / PAFEC required to join leading R&D company working on acoustic resonance wind sensors. This role would suit a candidate with postgraduate experience in a smilar industry and knowledge of the PAFEC suite. This Acoustics Engineer role will conduct research on the acoustic behaviour, operation and properties of wind sensors and their parts.

You should have an MSc in Acoustics, Physics or Engineering - candidates with a PhD in any of these areas will also be considered, especially if their research has included computer model development and experience with PAFEC suite for engineering analysis. Ideally you should have some post graduation experience, or project implementation in your studies. Any specific knowledge of piezo-electric transducers, clio measurement systems or Linux OS would also be of interest. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver projects within a team to deadlines.

Your knowledge of PAFEC should include - modelling deisng and optimisation of electro-acoustic transducers and acoustic resonators, modelling acoustic transfer in still air. You will establish and improve systems and measurement systems for transducers.
