Software Developer, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, Automation, Software Engineer

Software Developer is required for a manufacturing client working in the protective equipment industry who are currently going through a period of growth. This unique Software Developer role will be working in face paced automated manufacturing environment. The successful Software Developer will have a strong technical background and a genuine passion for software developer and problem solving. The Software Developer will be working in a small friendly team reporting to the Senior Software Developer and IT Manager.

Main duties and Responsibilities of the Software Developer:

           Research and develop

           Enhancement of existing applications

           Supporting applications

           Ensure that all development is adequately documented

           General fault finding

           Supporting the automated production line

Key Skills and Experience:

           C#

           SQL Server

           Proven experience of developing complex applications

           Enjoys problem solving

           The ability to learn new things quickly

           Strong analytical skills

           Enthusiastic / creative

           Good design and implementation skills

           Good general IT skills

Desirable Skills:

           VB.Net and VB6

           Degree in Computer Science or Similar

This role would be suitable for: .Net Developer, SQL Server Developer, Software Engineer, Software Analyst, VB Programmer with C# Experience, Graduate Developer
