Role Purpose:

We are looking to recruit an IT Business Analyst to join our Cyber Security Project.

As a proactive IT Business Analyst , your role will include identification of business requirements for new initiatives and encompass a variety of responsibilities within the Business Analysis realm. You will develop detailed business requirements and supporting documentations including comprehensive use cases. You will play a key role in working with the development team to design solutions that meet the business requirements for the identified projects. You will also be expected to create and implement test plans. You will assist Project Managers with effective implementation of projects as well as partnering with key stakeholders and ensuring customer satisfaction. You may also be required to deliver training for Projects where required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Tasks & Decisions):

- Responsible for gathering, documenting and obtaining sign-off of SMART business and functional requirements that is traceable throughout project delivery

- Responsible for performing gap analysis to develop, test and deliver new processes into BAU that pertains to the new Cyber Security Policy that was developed.

- Support in the development of test scripts and executing of the test scripts

- Support the Project Manager and Network Engineer with site deployment of new firewalls by liaising with sites and establishing appropriate outage timeframes.

- Support the Network Engineer in reviewing, socialising and sign off technical documents such as the Network Access Control and Intrusion Protection and Detection solution designs.

- Support the development and distribution of Cyber Awareness materials.

- Analyse list of servers and determine whether they are to be decommissioned or upgraded as part of the project.

- Support the Project Manager (as required) specifically around coordination of activities

- Partnering with Business users throughout the project lifecycle (e.g. Business Requirements, Training, User Acceptance Testing)

- Responsible for raising issues and risks if it affects the project delivery. If applicable, responsible also for resolving the issues and risks.

- Supporting the Cyber Security Program's Project Manager in BA related tasks.

For this position, the following skills, knowledge, abilities and experience are required;

Essential:

- Experience in business requirements gathering, analysis, and process documentation

- Excellent skills with MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Visio

- Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent stakeholder management

Desirable

- Experience in Cyber Security initiatives
