Our client is seeking a Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a large Civil Engineering project in the Cambridgeshire area

Requirements:

* Able to work as part of a pre-existing team

* Able to assist more senior members of the commercial team

* Worked on Civil Engineering projects previously such as Earthworks, Groundworks, Highways and Bridges

* Have a working knowledge of NEC 3 form of contract including Options A-C

* Worked on large projects up to £100m previously

Duties include:

Creating valuations, Creating and submitting cost value reports, pulling information, tracking outputs, providing quotations, pricing work and working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors to help with Compensation events

Rate: £100 - £130 per day

Location: Cambridgeshire

Duration: 9-12 months
