Picture this; a Java software house with 40 developers, working in a fast paced, challenging environment on 4 major products that are currently being used by major airlines all around the world. These products help make our flights safer, whilst saving millions of pounds every year.
There are also some top secret projects on the horizon, set to be released over the next couple of years; you will have the opportunity to play your part in developing the code and seeing them grow from infancy through to fully-fledged workable systems.
Given the pure size of this Java house, you will always have someone you can turn to when you have a technical headache - never again feel like you are the best in the room and not have anyone you can learn from.
Desperate to use a particular technology? Great! The directors have an open door policy and will pro-actively encourage you to introduce a tool that you feel will add value.
You will be expected to already come with commercial experience using Java and relevant framework experience such as Spring and Hibernate. Once you have your feet under the table, you can be expected to work in an environment that will also include technologies such as; Tomcat, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Junit, Cucumber, MySQL, jQuery and Velocity.
Full package details include;
£30,000 - £45,000
25 days holiday
