My Oxford based client are currently looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their rapidly expanding team and provide design to delight their users. The Senior UX Designer will work on responsive design across desktop, web and mobile applications. The design team works collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams including Software Engineers, Front-end Developers and Project Managers. Working for a cutting-edge and highly professional Software House, the Senior UX Designer will need to not only be a team player but also be willing to expand his/her skills in a environment driven by a passion for technology

This new Senior UX Designer role offers abundant opportunities to hone your existing skill as well as develop new ones. In a staff-centric and dynamic environment, the creative UX Designer will be working with technologies such as Axure, OmniGraffle, Adobe CS, CSS, HTML and JavaScript.

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for:

           Gathering requirements directly from clients, stakeholders and users through workshops

           Designing user journeys and user interfaces

           Creating clickable prototypes

           Providing and receiving constructive criticism on designs

The Senior UX Designer will have:

           Experience of responsive design

           Strong visual design

           Skills across a range of tools (e.g. Axure, OmniGraffle, Adobe CS)

           Experience creating wireframes and clickable prototypes

           Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Ideally the Senior UX Designer will have:

           Experience with data visualisations and information design

           Agile experience

This role is based in Oxford city centre and has excellent rail and bus connections. It is highly commutable from Banbury, Dicot, Bicester, Aylesbury, Reading, Swindon, Abingdon, Witney and many more. My client are also happy to accept candidates who need to relocate.
