1st Line, 2nd Line remote desktop and on-site support. Post is full time and is located in the CV4 area.

I have a vacancy for a desktop engineer to join our small team who are remote. The role involves some on-site support and remote desktop support to multiple sites across England, there will be a requirement for travel occasionally so a full license is necessary. The role is a mixture of hardware and software support to staff, Consultants and Radiologists.

You will be part of the Global UK IT service desk team, who collectively provide the first point of contact to enable the company’s internal and external IT users to report faults and/or request services and equipment. This will include a requirement to support an on call (out of hours) service (paid in addition to salary).

We are looking for someone who is:

                                                                                                                                   Self-motivated, punctual and reliable

                                                                                                                                   Has the ability to show initiative in developing the role and to work with minimal supervision

                                                                                                                                   Has the ability to work flexibly either on own initiative or within a team, building strong day-to-day relationships with colleagues.

                                                                                                                                   Is able to manage a varied workload, balancing scheduled tasks with requests for assistance from the team, which may have short deadlines.

                                                                                                                                   Is able to act as an advocate and represent the organisation’s work and values
