Database Administrator DBA (SQL Cassandra)

Location: London, City

Rate: £550 to £600 p/day

Term: 6 months

Start: Immediate / ASAP

Database Administrator DBA (SQL Cassandra) sought by global financial software house with in excess of 2,000 institutional clients for a six month contract at their City office. They have a SQL Server and Cassandra database environment, the Cassandra environment has just gone live. As a Database Administrator / DBA you will focus on verifying data quality, data feeds, data issues and any outstanding development work on the Cassandra database, taking ownership and producing documentation.

City based offices with a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Requirements:

*Must have Cassandra database administration experience

*Strong knowledge of SQL or T-SQL (SQL Server or Oracle)

*Excellent communication skills
