Front End JavaScript / Full Stack Developer - Permanent - West London - £Competitive Salary

Summary

A position has become available in our multi-award-winning internet company for a talented and motivated front end or full stack developer to work within the supplier products development team. This is a new role following restructuring and substantial expansion of our development teams.

Your role

You will join a multidisciplinary agile team of product owner, designer, developers, test engineers and a DevOps engineer tasked with developing supplier facing products. My client is investing in building a variety of new products and renovating some of the existing ones. You will play a key role in defining front-end development technologies and strategy, and be responsible for implementation and maintenance of user interfaces and the front-end developed within Supplier Team.

Your profile

At least 3 years of working experience as a front-end or full-stack developer, strong passion in new technologies, Web and mobile products. BSc or MSc in computer science is not required but strongly preferable. You are keen to work/grow as a full-stack developer and expand your horizons.

Required skills

* 3 years of commercial UI OO JavaScript development

* Experience in developing complex JS web applications (preferably demonstrable highly re-usable components).

* Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks (Angular, React)

* Strong understanding of CSS, with possibly Sass, Less

* Experience with JS package managers, libraries, tooling (npm, bower, grunt, gulp, lodash)

* Experience in TDD, BDD, end-to-end tests/frameworks (Karma, Jasmin, Protractor, Selenium)

* Experience in CI/CD

* Understanding of responsive design and ergonomics

* Experience with Scrum and/or other agile methodologies

* Strong communication skills

* Analytical and problem-solving mindset
