Evaluator, EMEA ABS - London - Competitive salary + benefits
A motivated and self-sufficient individual is required to join the world's leading source of intelligent information and software solutions.
The Evaluator position is accountable and responsible for the following:
* Provide accurate and timely pricing for the universe of EMEA ABS instruments
* Manage/monitor daily Quality Assurance (QA) utilising all available resources, reports, and tools to minimise risk of price corrections/delays
* Provide high quality customer service by ensuring challenges are addressed promptly and effectively
* Represent ABS valuations team in internal and external forums (due diligence meetings, client visits, conferences)
* Collaborate with management team to increase productivity through automation, re-engineering, and other strategies and to initiate and develop new areas of growth/coverage/capabilities
* Take an active role in designing and implementing methodology, model, and process enhancements as needed to meet client/market expectations
* Participate in and advise upon transparency matters
* Monitor the EMEA ABS and overall Securitised market
* Obtain market colour through network of contacts, research and BWIC activity
* Maintain close contacts with the dealer community to obtain market insights and gain transparency
* Obtain and analyse weekly research commentary from dealer desks and ratings agencies
Essential Skills/Experience Required:
* 3 to 5 years Euro ABS evaluated pricing, structuring, modelling, or analytics background
* Quantitative and analytical skills; deep knowledge of asset type specific methodology/analytics
* Valuations expert with significant industry connections and relationships
* Expertise in global financial markets and specifically, fixed income and securitised products
* Ability to partner with Pricing Service and Sales Specialist teams to manage and further develop TRPS client relationships
* Ability to work effectively with Project Management team, Development teams, and Vendors/Partners
* Ability to cultivate and maintain a network of broker/street contacts
* Communication skills
* Customer Service Skills
* Ability and willingness to mentor
Education/Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree ideally focused in Business, Finance, Financial Engineering or Mathematics - required
* CFA charter holder or Series certified candidate; other relevant Fixed Income certifications - a plus
