Senior C# Developer - Previous Banking experience is essential

Senior C# Developer is required by tier 1 investment bank. This hire will play an influential role in every aspect of the software lifecycle, driving technical innovation and solving complex business problems using robust technical C# solutions. You need to be able to get to grips with the complex multi-window real-time trader systems, working on low latency software that is based on .NET C# client / server technologies. You must be able to identify software performance issues, bottle necks and be comfortable with memory management.

Ideally you will be a passionate C# .NET developer who enjoys hacking in to software and exploring ways of improving system performance.

Required skills and experience will include extensive: C#, WCF, Multi-threaded, Parallel programming, Garbage collection, Object Orientated, Memory Management and experience of the full trade life cycle.

You will be a strong communicator with an appreciation of Agile and TDD.

Due to the nature of the role, both strong communication as well as Technical skills will be required as there will be daily interaction with Front Office Teams to meet requirements.
