Web Developer, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel - JY/4666

An exciting opportunity with a leading independent media and games company has become available for an experienced and self-motivated Web Developer with strong PHP knowledge. The Web Developer will be based in Oxford and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.

As a Web Developer you will be required to work with an existing team of developers, working with company requirements, deadlines, libraries and code. The Web Developer will expected to contribute to design processes, share ideas with the team leaders and members, produce high quality code and maintain existing and legacy code.

The Web Developer will ideally have some of the following experience:

           Excellent PHP, MySQL and problem-solving skills

           Knowledge and experience of OOP and MVC frameworks (ideally Laravel)

           Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery)

           Familiarity with use of IDEs, debugging, logging, automated testing (PHPUnit, TDD), and version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN)

           Agile development methods
