JavaScript Developer

Location: Leeds (City centre)

An independent software house, product development and consultation company are looking for a full stack JavaScript developer. The company predominantly working within the financial and gaming sectors to build rich client interfaces on top of our customer's data services.

You will be working with a team of developers who have a varied level of experience but enjoy the same passion for technology and clean code. The software house specialises in using JavaScript frameworks like React and Node to develop application that work to the highest standards. You will be working with some market leading companies to develop applications with the most cutting edge techniques.

The role

We are recruiting for Full Stack JavaScript developers with extensive HTML and CSS experience and strong knowledge of core JavaScript. There is training available around React and Node however a good core understanding of the frameworks is beneficial. You will have a good eye for layout but your primary role will be converting approved designs to pixel-perfect, semantic, accessible and compliant code.

You will be designing and building exciting new products on iPhone, Android, Web Applications and Websites to each client's individual specification as well as creating products we sell direct to consumers. An excellent understanding and enthusiasm for web development and JavaScript is important. A professional manner is essential as you will be responding to problems and queries from clients = and you will occasionally be required to take part in project meetings.

It is essential that you have the following skills:

*JavaScript

*Standards-Based CSS/CSS3,

*Standards-Based HTML/HTML5

Desirable skills would be:

*Node.js

*React.js

*NoSQL Databases
