My client is a prestigious Wealth Manager in the City of London. They seek a Business Analyst for Financial Planning Business Process Improvement
Current Financial Planning (FP) processes have significant elements that are manual / paper based, and are considered time consuming and inefficient, and also inconsistent across FP teams
Role
The BA/PM role will be to:
* Lead the analysis and definition of the current and target business processes for Financial Planning
* In the pursuit of this to engage with the FP team members carrying out various roles in the FP operating model
* Specify current and future processes and any associated requirements (business and / or technology) in conjunction with the FP Stakeholders and senior management
* Carry out the definition and agreement of business process changes.
* Facilitate the preparation and delivery of any necessary education to end-users.
* Carry out the preparation and execution of the agreed business roll-out of changes.
Skills and experience
* Experience of working in a Financial Planning environment within a larger organisation e.g. Bank / Wealth Manager
* Experience of Business Process Improvement / Re-engineering, preferably in an FP environment
* Knowledge of relevant Regulation and how this practically affects the FP business and operating model
* Experience of working with Front Office stakeholders ( ideally experience with Financial Planners and Paraplanners)
* Business Analyst skills developed through experience (not qualification alone)
* Ability to engage and lead stakeholders
* Self-directing in terms of identifying appropriate work, identifying and resolving relevant risks and issues, and driving the authorised agenda forward
