Business Support Officer/contract/3 months/Truro/IR35

Spring Technology are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to work with our public sector client deemed inside IR35. This is a contract position based in Truro for an initial 3 month period with the potential to extend. The pay for this role is £10.74 per day. The client is looking for a candidate to help implement significant system developments. The successful candidate should have excellent ICT skills, preferably with experience of supporting case management systems.

Main tasks will include:

*To support the on-going development and maintenance of systems; undertaking business analysis, completing system change documentation and configuring changes within systems (primarily MOSAIC)

*To support the delivery of helpdesk, user support and training to all system users.

Key skills for the role include:

*Attention to detail and accuracy in relation to data entry

*Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products

*SQL skills

*Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver formal training

*Experience in providing excellent customer service

*Experience in the use of specialist electronic information systems and excellent ICT skills relevant to the analysis of information

*Demonstrate knowledge and skills to manage and prioritise multiple projects whilst under pressure to meet deadlines

*Directorate of Children, Families and Adults.

*To collaborate with colleagues, both in the team and with other joint activities relevant to the work of the post; similarly to work with other agencies, local, regional and national, as required.

*To deputise for the Senior System Support Officer in their absence by undertaking activities involved in the implementation.

*To maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the Directorate and Partnerships.

*Demonstrate knowledge and skills to manage and prioritise multiple projects whilst under pressure to meet deadlines

*Education to HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4 with relevant technological, linguistic or analytical content or equivalent qualification/experience
