Senior Software Engineer C# .NET

As Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of software components required for the company product range. You will create designs for new features, develop and deliver features to agreed requirements, provide prototypes as proof of concept, support developments with suitable tests including unit, system and regression tests.

The position requires a comprehensive background within software development, backed up with an education and work experience profile that includes operating in a commercial environment where products have to be delivered to a balance of scope, budget and schedule.

It is necessary to be experienced in software design, development and support with excellent programming skills using languages especially C#.Net.

Proven experience on large complex software systems, with the ability to understand the overall architectural design of the system, is a prerequisite. It is important to be able to identify how development of new components impacts the existing architecture along with new functionality, especially in terms of performance.

Essential skills of the Senior Software Engineer:

* Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related

* Excellent development experience using C# .Net

* Considerable analysis, design and software architecture experience

* Visual Studio / .Net tools

* Knowledge of Windows architecture

* Object oriented programming

* Working with source code control tools such as Clearcase or TFS

* Proven design documentation skills
