Are you an experienced Environmental Officer looking to work on an exciting project on a long term basis? Do you have a degree on Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar?

My client are a leading producer of specialty metals. They have started working on a new project within the mining industry and require an environmental officer to assist their environmental team with the implementation of the company's Environmental Management System (EMS).

You will be tasked with ensuring management and contractors to achieve accountability or environmental management, and that they comply with all statutory planning requirements whilst assisting with estate management.

The role will require you to manage and interpret data, using computer systems to obtain and record data accurately and construct reports, and provide support to review and improve the EMS.

You must be able to identify environmental issues, introduce measures to achieve compliance, monitor noise, air quality, dust and blasting vibration and monitor the performance of water systems and undertake environmental audits and create reports as required.
