We are currently looking for a Security Architect for our IT- / telecommunication client

Location: Newbury / Düsseldorf

Start: ASAP

Duration : 3 month roll over contracts

Language: English, German would be a plus

Background:

For our IT-/telecommunication client we need a security Architect that can help on re-defining the architecture for a solution that makes surfing saver (a.o. move from DPI (Deep Package Inspection) to DNS encryption).

Tasks

- Analyze platform and review various design HLD's of our customer to check/validate against possible security gaps and vulnerabilities

- Define requirements for the move of DPI to DNS

- Ensure security of system architecture

- Consult and support on security topics

- Support in the management of IT security architectures

- Guide and advise the client's internal customer to ensure that security/ risk mitigations are built in by design

General required experience:

- Education in IT or similar area

- Support and advise on operational and strategic projects related to IT security and IT security architecture

- Professional Security / Networking Qualification (like CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CCIE, JNCIS, CCSE / CCMA); preferred experience with L3 and L2

- Min. 3 years experience in Security Architecture environment

- Security protocols and cryptographic algorithms (like TLS, RSA, ECC, AES)

- In-depth specific knowledge in one of those areas: Wi-Fi, Mobile Connectivity, LTE, 5G, SELinux, HSM, Network Analysis, Side Channel Attacks, Vulnerability Scanning, WAF, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), DNS

- Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices (eg ISO / IEC 27001, OWASP, US-NIST Security Publications)

- Development of architectures in cooperation with various international departments

- Development of a client-wide safety solution approach taking into account the entire process chain

- Excellent communication capabilities
