Senior Python Developer - NumPy, SciPy, Pandas - LondonSenior Python Developer - NumPy, SciPy, Pandas - London ROLE: Senior Python DeveloperLOCATION: Central LondonSALARY: £DOESTART: ASAPROLES: 2My client, a leading financial company, are looking for a talented Python Developer to join one of their top teams. You will be required to have strong technical skills in Python and have experience on working with analysis systems, (ideally within finance). You should also have a good communication skills and feel comfortable working with non-development teams to deliver significant product changes.The role:
'€¢Work to deliver extensive improvements to the data delivery and risk analysis systems'€¢Work closely with the risk, regulatory and quant teams to understand new requirements and collaborate in order to deliver risk-analysis technology'€¢Develop prototype algorithms into high-performance technology (including re-factoring, testing and documentation)'€¢Migrating risk analysis framework into a new architecture
Essential skills:
'€¢Extensive experience in Python development'€¢Experience working with data structures and algorithms'€¢Extensive experience of libraries: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy'€¢Experience of various database techs including NoSQL databases like MongoDB'€¢Experience building data processing, ETL and data pipelining workflows'€¢Degree level education in computer science or engineering (or similar)
Beneficial skills:
'€¢Experience in building data analysis systems'€¢Knowledge of other scripting languages like bash and working knowledge of Linux'€¢Higher level degree (MSc/PhD)
