We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Consultant to join a leading international FinTech company within their expanding Development Services team in central Sheffield. The Technical Consultant will specialise in system implementation, software deployment and delivery of technical services to internal and external stakeholders, so strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate with clients is essential.

The successful Technical Consultant will work in an agile development team to provide systems administration support on software deployment, troubleshooting and performance tuning, completing system installation and upgrade activities covering a range of client and third-party software. The Technical Consultant will also be responsible for designing and implementing data migration processes and creating clear and efficient software deployment processes.

Skills and experience required for the Technical Consultant:

* Oracle DBA skills (Data Guard, RMAN, Data Pump).

* Experience of Database and SQL performance tuning.

* Data migration experience.

* Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX shell programming.

Salary: £45k - £50k + pension, healthcare, bonus & flexible working
