Project Manager - Software Implementation (Energy & Utilities)

Project Manager - Software Implementation (Energy & Utilities) is required to join a rapidly expanding company in the UK on a permanent basis. The role offers a salary of up to £65,000 plus benefits and the chance to work for an innovative, market leading name looking to make real difference in the market.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

* A broad understanding of retail Energy markets is absolutely crucial

* Proven ability to implement change and process improvements

* Strong client facing skills

* Strong project delivery capabilities

* Brilliant communication and stakeholder management skills

* Expertise in at least one of the following:

* Electricity/ gas dataflows and related processes

* Smart metering/ DCC

* Customer journey - enrolment, billing, payments (direct debit), COT, Loss

* Industry interaction including registration, loss, erroneous transfers disputed reads, site visits, and new connections.

* Customer service processes

* Electricity and Gas pricing including cost components and product structures

* Sales, prospects and credit vetting

DESIRABLE SKILLS

* Experience at an Energy SME supplier

* Experience of being a project team member from the business side for a replacement billing system implementation project

* Experience of using market interaction software such as Utiligroup AFMS

* Experience of using Utility billing applications

* Ability to write SQL and an understanding of data models and hierarchy

* Experience in solution/system architecture and interfacing

* Understanding of release processes

Day to day role:

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the ultimate end to end delivery of major software implementation projects, regularly managing multiple projects simultaneously of values of up to several £mill. You will must be willing to travel nationally to client sites will be required, working independently to carefully manage client relationships and ensuring clients' needs are met.

Location: Offices across Midlands/ South West/ London - national travel involved ( likely once every 1-2 weeks)

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 p/a DOE
