Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you'll be the driving force behind it all.

As Analytics Developer you'll play an important role within the newly formed production purchasing analytics team. You'll be tasked with developing the analytics strategy and delivering projects that release the value of our data and help inform/shape negotiation strategy with our suppliers. A natural problem solver, you'll coordinate and lead programmes, solving the most complex analytics problems faced by Jaguar Land Rover Purchasing. Your role will be highly influential in shaping the direction and growth of the analytics function in the purchasing organisation and have significant impact on the future sourcing process.

In your role you'll be involved in the development of analytical models from specification and resourcing through to stakeholder management and delivery. You'll ensure all analytics models are quality-assured before results are communicated with the business, ensuring results are applied in the wider analytics community. You'll liaise with stakeholders from across the business to drive change and business value through analytics. You'll also be developing an ethos of best practice and continuous improvement across the Data Analytics team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

As Analytics Developer you'll need experience gained from working on analytics projects within a technology consultancy or an established corporate analytics team. Proficient in the use of established data analytics tools, you'll have strong coding experience especially in parsing and retrieving data from unstructured data files. A proven analytics architect, you'll have experience of transforming processes and delivering value through analytics.

You'll have led the development of analytics solutions in a range of technologies and either have experience in one of the following tools, Python, R, Google BigQuery, or Tableau and be comfortable learning new technologies. Ideally you'll hold a degree in operational research, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a similar discipline.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
