Data Migration Analyst / Developer - SQL / SAP to be based in London on an initial 6 Month contract. Proficient in SQL Development, understanding of SAP SD.

Location - London
Rate - £ 400 per day
Duration - 6 Months initial
Job Purpose
To be part of the team responsible for the delivery of the data migration activity for the implementation of a new version of one of our flagship online products. The position achieves this through the effective planning, capture and translation of data migration requirements into the design, execution, validation and post go-live support of the migration effort within a highly-customised SAP environment.
Main responsibilities of the job
* Work with business and programme resources (internal and 3rd-party) to define and execute data conversion rules
* Assess the internal quality, referential and historical integrity of UKI Legal customer data
* Investigate and resolve defects
* Identify potential duplicates
* Consolidate data records under the new schema
* Validate data extracts and uploads
* Liaise with the testing resource to ensure data conversions are within acceptable tolerance
* Other relevant duties, as directed
Job Requirements
Essential
* Fluent SQL with experience of database design, create and test, gained in a SQL server or Oracle environment
* Experience of SAP R3 and SAP Business Warehouse
* Experience working with large B2B datasets, transforming data, data quality audits etc.
* MS Office suite power user (particularly Access & Excel)
* Ability to write scripts and procedures for data manipulation (some programming experience is essential e.g. VBA, C#)
* Well-rounded experience of data management, including data quality assessment and cleansing
* Excellent understanding of relational database structures

* Experience of managing / participating in large data migration projects
* Knowledge and experience of data standardization tools and analysis techniques, including fuzzy matching
