AX Solutions Analyst

Poole, Dorset

c£35,000 p/a

Overview

Our client’s purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Your role would be to deliver support and solutions to specific business areas in relation to AX software programs and in this way, ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the application.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will provide:

- The technical support to the finance business area; work with partners and customers to conduct root cause analysis, evaluate and generate ideas, contribute to the design of solutions for improvement and to effective implementation plans.

- Support for Transformational Support projects in relation to the implementation of technical deliverables.

- The successful delivery of technical solutions including testing of new and existing applications and performing post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.

- Enhancements and defect resolution and support resolution plans including the prioritisation, scheduling, and administering of work as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or equivalent work experience especially in the General Ledger area of finance.

- Microsoft AX certifications or demonstrable experience in the AX application specifically in the area of finance.

- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including AX 2012 - Particularly in the finance modules and interfaces.

- Working with and an understanding of 3rd Party Application Integrations / Interfaces and 3rd Party suppliers.
