A Market Data Application Support position has become available within a reputable European Investment Bank.
The Role
Based in the City of London, this well European IB is looking to bring on a Market Data Application Support specialist. This is a client facing position, working alongside clients as well as 3rd party exchanges and market data providers. You as the Market Data Application Support specialist will participate in client and stakeholders meetings, to understand and discuss priorities and time frames. Due to the nature of the team and this position, having experience with market data connectivity will be of great benefit to you as the incoming Market Data Application Support professional.
A lot of their systems run on a UNIX platform, so having experience with UNIX is considered essential for the Market Data Application Support role, this means being able to navigate a Unix environment, working with command lines and basic scripting. Additionally experience to networking principles and firewalls will also be advantageous
