Role: Snr IT Business Analyst (Applications change)

Location: Croydon and London

Length: 6 months

This role is a contract position, working within the IT Delivery function of Commercial IT. This role is to provide Business Analyst support to the three IT project streams of the Brexit program - Rebranding, Reinsurance and Financial Reporting.

Job Purpose:

Identify, define and document business/systems requirements and functional requirements for a range of applications (front end, middleware, backend) in line with business strategy. Build in depth understanding of products, processes and systems to support business strategy execution end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

Work with both business and IT teams to understand and document required application changes as a consequence of Brexit strategy

Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication

Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice

Support applications development teams and test teams throughout the application change process

Review test strategy and test documentation to ensure it complies with agreed requirements and overall Brexit strategy

Support business and test team during test phase with defect triage process

* Excellent communication skills required

* High levels of enthusiasm, commitment, and energy required

* Ability to travel within Europe as and when required (limited duration)

* Good working knowledge of MS Office required

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
