SC/DV Cleared Project Manager

My Government Client require an experienced Project Manager to take on a portfolio of small to medium sized projects consisting of;

*Infrastructure upgrades

*Software design and development

*Testing

*Release

*Pilot

*Roll Out

Experience required:

(PRINCE2 Practitioner/APMP or equivalent project management qualification.

*Have minimum 5-years' experience of planning, monitoring and controlling projects using the PRINCE2 methodology or project related methodology.

*Extensive Project Management Experience and knowledge of the project lifecycle.

*Previous experience of delivering multiple projects covering infrastructure upgrades, software design and development, testing, release, pilot and roll out.

*Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders and ability to motivate a wider team of operational staff that they will interact with.

*Experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams including external suppliers.

*Attention to detail and tenacity

Personal Skills:

*A skilled and experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple, simultaneous IT Delivery projects within agreed timescales and budgets.

*A customer-centric approach with a demonstrable ability to manage and influence customer's and key stakeholder's expectations.

*Ability to deliver results against targets, standards and milestones as defined by the customer and Programme Manager.

*Effective management of project finances, project risks and issues and project scope change.

*Accountability for the quality and accuracy of your own and your team's work.

*Problem solving and judgement, especially in the pressurised environment of a project.

*Deal proactively with problems and act appropriately and decisively to resolve them.

*Ability to work well as part of a team and be required to work without direct supervision for periods of time.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
