I am currently working with a large software consultancy who're looking to bring into the business a strong software developer with experience working on Java projects to work on client site in Glasgow. The role itself will be to provide a high level of software development skills, while also demonstrating the ability to work will within mall, agile team. This will involve taking responsibility for your own part of the projects delivery and potentially mentoring less experienced members of the team.

* Core Java Enterprise Edition development skills and understanding of Java design principles

* Extensive skills within the Spring Framework and modules including Spring Security and Spring Web Services

* Experience with Restful web service integration using Json

* Understanding of SOAP based web-services

* Experienced with JDBC STRUCT

* Maven experience

* Familiarity with Git / GitLab

The successful candidate will have the opportunity not only to progress themselves within the business, but also work on a wide variety of different projects across Scotland. The offices are based in the centre of Glasgow and very easily accessible from major transports hubs and motorways.
