Data Warehouse Developer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer to join one of the UK's largest Investment Banks in Canary Wharf, London. This SQL Data Warehouse Developer will sit alongside the front office business users, acting as the first / second line of support on any issues relating to the SQL Server Data Warehouse.

As a SQL Data Warehouse Developer you will be responsible for development and maintenance of existing SQL databases and data feeds. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of new features while providing both first and second line support with any business or technical issue while liaising with your support team. This SQL Server Developer will be sitting in the front office working in close proximity with business users on a daily basis.

The successful Data Warehouse Developer will have strong SQL server development skills, coupled with experience in DWH design (e.g. using tool such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS). As this role provides a lot of autonomy, you must be a highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently. As you will be required to liaise with business users on a daily basis, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
