IT Security Architect

Up to £47,000 + benefits

Spring Technology are seeking an IT Security Architect to join our market leading client. Their modern offices are in central Leeds and are easily accessible on foot from the train station. This is an organisation that invests heavily in their teams and offers outstanding working conditions and benefits package which includes an annual bonus.

As the Security Architect you will be responsible for the design and delivery of IT security solutions to meet immediate and strategic security needs, meeting all functional and non functional requirements and the selection and use of all appropriate products and services.

You will also ensure the consistent implementation and adoption of IT Security solutions and the adherence to architectural principles, policies and processes. This also requires you to provide advice and assurance for the security aspects of other IT Solutions across applications, platforms and infrastructure and networks.

In addition you will lead the migration from the current security solutions to a simplified, rationalised and consolidated technology landscape, enabling future change to be delivered in a controlled, flexible and agile way.

The successful Security Architect will possess the following skills and experiences:-

*Proven track record of the design and delivery of large scale IT security technologies and solutions, undertaking a senior architectural role.

*Excellent understanding of the security threats and vulnerabilities within a broad range of application, platform, infrastructure and/or network architectures and solutions.

*Emerging IT security challenge and vendor strategies for the mitigation of those security risks.

*ISO27001 and PCI security standards.

*Formal structured methodologies for solution design.

* Technical Leadership for a team of senior technical roles, providing direction and influence to ensure completion of activities.
