We have an exciting opportunity with one of our biggest clients, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with other departments to develop user-focused applications and be part of a team who are leading edge digital products including websites and mobile apps.

Based within the media industry, they are taking the sector by storm. Home to some of the UK's favourite media outlets, they have been highly successful by making use of cutting-edge tech.

Essential skills';

* Demonstrable knowledge and application of programming languages - PHP is preferred however experience in Python, Ruby or Java will be considered

* Experience of MVC frameworks such as Symfony2, Zend Framework 2, Rails or Django

* Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns

* Experience of working in a continuous delivery environment

* Experience with Dock, AWS and building REST API's.
