Job Title: IT Technical Consultant

Location: Northwich

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The company is one of the fastest growing and well thought of Sage X3 partners in the UK and one of the longest-established and most trusted Oracle Applications partners. Cheshire based IT consultancy requires technical consultant to work across their Sage, Infor and Oracle business units.

The role will report into their technical lead and work in a team with another more junior resource.

Key Responsibilities:

* Technical consultancy initial implementations across the technology stack for Sage, Infor and Oracle

* Ad-hoc technical consultancy for each product

* Technical support for our customers and internal environments

* Assisting in the mentoring of junior resource

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

* Windows Server administration (strong knowledge)

* MS SQL - strong knowledge

* Oracle DBA (ideal if experience but working knowledge of database structures and processes is key - MS SQL preferred as current gap)

* Working knowledge of any modern ERP system (Oracle/Sage/Infor/SAP etc.)

* Working knowledge of any Virtual environment (VMware/Hyper-V)

* Linux administration - fundamentals

* Networking (DNS, Firewalls etc) - fundamentals

* Nice to have experience with

* SSRS reporting

* SQL script writing and deployment
