Job Title: Business Analyst

Annual Salary: Up to 40k

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Manchester

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst for an exciting permanent position based in the Manchester area. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the following areas:

Business Analysis

Datacentre/Networking Experience

Server and Storage Concepts (NAS/SAN);

Stakeholder Management

Requirement Gathering (AS-IS and TO-BE)

Product Ownership

Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a gaming, media or broadcasting environment however all applicants will be considered.

Essential Experience

*Certification including BCS, Scrum Master or Product Owner highly desirable

*Experienced / Knowledge of the following deliverables and practices: Objective user journeys, stakeholder analysis, competitor analysis, business process modelling (UML/Use Case);

*Must be able to demonstrate practical experience in an analytical role;

*Experience communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within the organisation, including oral and written presentations, proposals, technical specifications, system/networking diagrams and reports;

*Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the requirements and solutions as well as resolve lower level operational issues with experience translating between business and technology;

*Experience of large scale projects such as Networks, Platforms, or Datacentres;

*Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems;

*Experience of working with ISO Standards;

*Experience of Server and Storage Concepts (e.g. NAS/SAN);

*Experience of networks architecture and systems from a functional point of view;

*Detailed technical understanding and experience of WANs;

*Understanding of remote support and monitoring;

*Experience of working with datacentres and tier 1 network providers;

*Experience of IT economics including charging models for IT infrastructure and connectivity;

*Gather detailed functional requirements and collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, IT engineers,

*Mapping business processes as the basis for gathering requirements.

*Creating functional and non-functional specification documents as required.
