What is the job doing?

You will be working a variety of clients on challenging projects in a team which is small - ensuring your voice is always heard! You will be designing solutions, taking ownership for these projects and be comfortable working on a client facing basis. 50% of your time will be sent doing hands on coding and the other 50% of your time will be spent doing architectural work. You will not have line management responsibility, however if this is something that you would like then this is possible.

Which of my amazing skills will I use in this job?

You will be a confident and happy coding as well as doing architecting .NET based solutions with multiple integration points. Your Microsoft stack skills will to be up to date , but your overall experience will be broad, you will be comfortable working in Unix environments, working inside existing Java projects. You will be experienced infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Azure.

What tech do I need to know about?

*ASP.NET Web API 2 and MVC 5

*ORMs, Entity Framework or NHibernate or Dapper

*RDBMS schema design

*Horizontal scaling, stateless web applications, and multi-region deployments

*Infrastructure security

*Azure, ARM templating and High Availability architectures

*SOA and RESTful services

*git

*Gang of Four patterns

*CI/CD

*Message Queues

How do I know if I this role is right for me?

You will be comfortable presenting technical information to clients in a clear manner and naturally your time management skills will be great!
