Security Operations Team Leader - £55,000 - £70,000 - Kent

I am currently charging the search for a Senior Security Operations professional to join a Financial Credit organisation who are looking to achieve the highest Information Security standards in a Bank. This organisation is looking for a skilled Cyber Security professional who is dedicated to his art, this is a hands on technical/ operational role that sits in the Security Operations Centre (SOC).

The role

As a Security Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading up to five Security Engineers/ Analysts and Vulnerability Analysts within the SOC. Your technical skillset and responsibilities will revolve around Security Incident Response activities, Attack Monitoring, SIEM, and Threat and Vulnerability Management. A thorough understanding of working with the requirements of PCI or other security standards such as ISO will be beneficial, as well as previous experience working in the Financial Services/Cyber Security Industry.

Key Skills

Essential:

* Understanding and exposure of working with a wide range of Security niches; including Incident Response, Attack Monitoring and Threat and Vulnerability Management

* High level of knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals and technologies

* SIEM Monitoring including; Arcsight, Splunk or LogRhythm

* Operational experience of PCI DSS

* Information Security expertise combined with understanding of Financial Services/ Laws and Regulations
