Lead Technical Business Analyst

Lead Technical Business Analyst needed for a contract with a Tier 1 banking client based in London. The ideal candidate will need to possess skills from technical BA experience as you will be expected to be able to undertake complex data analysis and then deliver the information extracted from the data to a team of BAs and IT colleagues. Candidates that have previous experience in managing teams of other Business Analysts will have priority in this position as the experience is key for the role. This means that the candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills as they will be dealing with the business and senior stakeholders on a daily basis. A development background will be preferred for the ideal candidate as this will give you the most potential to successfully carry out the role.

You are expected to have knowledge and expertise regarding BCBS 239, particularly with data traceability and control documentation for liquidity reporting systems as this is the core focus of the role. As this is an exciting opportunity to join a Tier 1 global banking organisation, the business analyst should also have experience working in the Banking or Investment banking sector so that they are familiar with the environment and are able to hit the ground running when starting the role.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in a technical lead Business Analyst role

* Experience in managing/leading a team of Business Analysts

* Previous experience of undertaking complex data analysis

* Previous experience of working in a large Retail and/or commercial bank

* Experience or knowledge of SQL for undertaking data analysis

* Experience or knowledge of BCBS 239

* A development background (preferred)
