BI Analyst/ Developer/ Consultant / Birmingham / Microsoft BI Stack / SQL / 3 Month Contract

At Spring Technology we are currently recruiting for the position of a BI analyst to work with our financial client over a period of three months.

In the role of BI Analyst, you will be expected to fulfil the client's requirement of regular data and information updates for a very prominent organisation within the city centre of Birmingham. This could take place in the form of daily, monthly, bi-monthly, and/or ad hoc reports.

To build these reports you will be required to use the Microsoft BI stack (SSRS and SSIS in particular), and SQL. Through the information you gain from this, you will provide this analysis to the Senior Management Team, in order for them to make better judgements on the direct of the business.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

* Mining both BI and MI analysis to be presented to the Senior Management Team to help them in turn make decisions based on better judgement.

* The running and delivery of reports.

* Pulling and delivery of Data.

* Building and analysis of SQL queries.

* Using your reporting skills to present data and information to the Senior Management Team.

* Being heavily involved in the implementation of BI tools (Microsoft BI stack).

* Being responsible for the construction and maintenance of statistical models.

Requirements

* Competency in using SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and SQL

* Experience in both BI and MI analysis

* Experience of running and delivery of reports

* Experience of pulling and delivery of Data

* Experience of building and analysis of SQL queries

* Skilled in reporting

* Skilled in the implementation of BI tools

* Experience of building and maintenance of statistical models
