Responsibilities

* Development of platform system software, building and configuring Linux.

* Full life cycle coding.

* Debugging.

Essential skills

* Experience developing Linux and hardware driver configurations and a strong technical understanding.

* Communication and presentational skills.

* Good team work and adaptability.

* Experience with embedded software systems and firmware development.

Desirable

* 3 or more years of relevant industrial experience.

* Basic electronics knowledge.

* Knowledge of ISO13485 (Medical Devices).

* Minimum BEng/BSc (or equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Science and Electronics, or Software Engineering degree.

* Experience with developing medical devices or life science instruments or IVD assay development.
