Back End APi Developer - Digital Company London / Southampton

Permanent £40,000 - £60,000 DOE and Excellent Benefits Including Pension and Bonus

My client are a global Digital Company and are looking for a Back End Api developers who are responsible for the server side micro services backbone which supports the new products via an SOA architecture. You will be writing RESTful services for front end and mobile application developers creating innovative customer facing experiences.

This is an exciting chance to work with some cutting edge mobile technology from inception to completion working on some high profile projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Skills:

Agile - works in SCRUM, XP, Kanban

Works well as part of an Agile team with Product Owners, BA's, QA with user stories, acceptance criteria in JIRA

Specialist in Back End API development

Software and application development in multiple programming languages including Java, NodeJS, springboot

Experience of DevOps for API delivery including CI, ideally with Jenkins

E-Commerce

Best practices including TDD, Test automation SCM with GIT

Cloud AWS environments
