Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: EUR400 per day max
Contract Type: Initial 6 Months
PROJECT MANAGER
Our client a multinational IT and Professional services organization is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month contract and support their end client a Global Financial Services Organisation based in Dublin City Centre
The Project Manager will be responsible for taking over delivery of a number of key projects for the account. These are all client funded projects and directly billable with a margin of 30% or over.
The projects will be utilizing tools and techniques for Cloud, Open-stack, and other technologies that deliver to the end client.
Project Manager KEY Responsibilities:
* Manages projects
* Budget as detailed in Impact section Large/ complex/ single or multiple regions.
* May include detailed design of sponsors' high-level concept High risk.
* Manages project financials including business impact
* Meets or exceeds approved budgets.
* Provides reliable financial forecasts to Management.
* Manages stakeholder relationships
* Manages upper level stakeholder relationships.
* Manages project team
* Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size generally greater than 20 people from multiple countries.
* Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.
* Provides detailed performance review input and development recommendations for team members.
Project Manager Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management or in similar role or business
* Holds current Professional Project Management Certification
* Knowledge of Financial Services and the Banking industry preferred.
* Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert
* Listening, oral, written and presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills.
* Organizational and planning and multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to manage the scope and timelines for dependent cross-functional teams
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.
* Demonstrate ethics and values to generate high team trust
* Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required processes and techniques.
